B-API Handler - good to know:
ICARO B-API Handler is a Windows or Unix-service which runs without any user interaction layer, developed with a focus to hide the SAP technology within a "black box" for you.
In principle, ICARO B-API Handler´s download service is being invoked from a SAP event, for example to receive an IDOC with SAP Master Data, then converts this IDOC into a file and thus enables any 3rd-Party software to consume it.
ICARO B-API Handler´s upload service works the other way round: a 3rd-Party product puts a record, for example an employees absence event into a directory and the B-API Handler starts to work: sign in to SAP, convert this event into a SAP IDOC and call a SAP-"program" to consume it.
